Who I am
I am Dan Skili, a creative arts psychotherapist (Creative Arts Psychotherapy), based at 89a Long Lane, London SE1 4PH. I am responsible for the personal information you give me through this website. You can contact me at psychotherapywellness2000@gmail.com.
What I collect, and why
If you use the contact form, I receive the details you type in: your name, your email address, your phone number (only if you choose to give one), how you would like to be contacted, and your message. I use them only to reply to your enquiry.
Please do not include sensitive personal or medical details in the contact form. Email is not a secure clinical channel, and there is no need to tell me anything private before we have spoken.
My lawful basis
You have asked me to get in touch, so replying to you is in both our interests. The legal basis I rely on is legitimate interests.
How your enquiry reaches me
Your message is sent to me by email. The website does not keep a database of enquiries. However, the website platform and the email service it uses may keep technical records of sending and delivery, which can include the content of the message, and I am not able to delete these myself. This is one more reason to keep your message brief and general.
You may also receive an automatic email confirming that your message has been received. It does not include a copy of what you wrote.
Who else handles your information
Your enquiry passes through the services that run this website and deliver its email, and it arrives in my email account. I do not sell your information or use it for marketing. The website platform's servers are in the United States, and the platform provides data protection terms for this. I rely on those terms.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your internet address.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry emails only for as long as I need them to reply to you. If we go on to work together, your details become part of my client records, which are covered by separate information I will give you.
The map on the Contact page
The map is provided by OpenStreetMap. When it loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your internet address as part of that. The "Get directions on Google Maps" link only connects to Google if you click it.

Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict how I use it, or to object to my using it. Email me at psychotherapywellness2000@gmail.com.
Concerns and complaints
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me at psychotherapywellness2000@gmail.com. I will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and respond without undue delay. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
